Single Engine Plane Crash on Highway 69 Caught on Dash Cam

A single engine plane crashed on highway 69 in Tyler.

The moment was captured by an Angelina County Constable Ray Anthony. He was driving down the highway 69 when the small plane hit the ground just few yards away from his vehicle.

The single engine small plane is a Cessna 150, which crashed north of Mount Selman near the city of Bullard.

There were two people on board the Cessna 150 and they have been identified to be 36 year old Joshua Daniel and 33 year old Jamie Jackson of Tomball.

Joshua Daniel is in serious condition and remains in ICU at ETMC. As per his family, he has suffered injuries on his left arm and head.

Jackson also received treatment from ETMC Tyler but is being released now.

According to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), substantial damage has happened to the plane. The Cessna 150 take off from Tyler Pound Regional Airport but it crashed near mile 352 on Highway 69.
